Sara Victoria Sandberg

Sara Victoria Sandberg is an internationally renowned photographic artist. Her art is a combination of her own photography and digital painting. Sara’s artwork is characterized by imaginative scenes often bringing animals into the story. Mood and atmosphere play a vital role with the aim to evoke emotive thoughts. The main source of inspiration is found in nature, personal experiences and observations. Sara has a long-standing background in watercolour painting and her painterly thinking of working with light and shadow is reflected in her artwork.

Sara has been represented at exhibitions globally. Her artwork has received numerous international accolades and publications. To mention some major awards, Sara won 1st Prize in the Monochrome Awards 2022 in Photo Manipulation, Bronze in the Prix de la Photographie both in 2022 and 2023 in Fine Art Collage, was runner-up in the EIZO Story Art Photographic Prize in the international category in 2022, Gold, Silver and Bronze in the Tokyo International Foto Awards 2022, became 1st place winner of the prestigious International Photo Awards (IPA) 2023 in the category Fine Art Collage and 1st place winner in the 21st Julia Margaret Cameron Awards 2023 in Digital Manipulation and Collage. Sara is a 2-fold Gold-medal winner in the Swedish Championship of Photography 2023 and 2024 in the category Digital Illustration.
